My name is Aya, and I am the owner and dyer of one-woman shop, Mythica Fibers.

I dye yarn, take photos, pack and ship orders all by myself in my home in Yokohama, Japan.

My aim is to create the colors that turn into beautiful fabric, not only beautiful in skein. 

Please enjoy my delicate and subtle speckled colorways, variegated colorways that are less likely to pool, tonal colorways with very slight variegation and depth that can not be achieved by mass-manufactured yarn.

I usually create the colorways from a story I make up, and dye one scene from that story like movie. I sometimes receive compliments for my colorway names and that may be because of this creation process.
